Why bother with Premium Bonds.

I find this way of saving better than Premium Bonds as you get paid interest on the deposit and also the chance to win sensible money, not a hundred million pounds. The web site is comfortable to use and quick. I would recommend to anyone if they are thinking of changing their bonds. Reviewed on: 25th January 2019

Security Concious

I was recommended to Family Building Society by the Daily Mail financial page. I opened a joint savings account - then the security problems started. I persisted with helpful staff, after many hiccups over security. Our account is now up and running, good interest rate and helpful/polite staff. Reviewed on: 15th December 2018

5 year fixed rate ISA

I transferred years of ISA savings into this product in order to receive an annual income. Unfortunately it was not clear that the interest was not paid out. Be wary, if you require your interest paid rather than accrued then this product is not for you. Reviewed on: 5th December 2018

Small, but perfectly formed, dynamic but espusing traditional values!

Interesting Product

Windfall Bond is an interesting product. Everyone knows Premium Bonds. This is an interesting copy but with better odds of winning. Would recommend if anybody was interested, but never comes up in conversations. Reviewed on: 29th November 2018

Taditional Values

I was looking for a well established Building Society with traditional values, excellent customer service, very good interest rates and products to place my life savings after I retired. Not only did they tick all the boxes they exceeded my expectations! Reviewed on: 28th November 2018

Good range of products

Family Building Society communicate well without inundating you with emails. They have a good range of products and the interest rates are usually comparable with other companies. The windfall bonds I think are quite unique and although not high interest give you the chance of winning one of the prizes so while interest rates are low are worth a shot.
