User friendly, contact with humans.

It is so refreshing and a huge relief to have accessible human communication. For a telephone call or other contact to be responded to promptly by an efficient, friendly person is a pleasant experience, in contrast to the stressful situations we are often subjected to. Excellent Service

I phoned Family Building Society today, late afternoon, and got through straightaway and was answered by Mia who was really helpful and answered my query so that I am now aware of the procedure. "The Helpful Building Soc."

The FBS have been really helpful, both today on the phone with Lia but also the information they provide on their website for family's mortgages goes beyond what other Building Society's provide. Very helpful. Reviewed on: 18th September 2023

Lovely lady unlocked my account

Savings transfer

I had trouble transferring money into a new savings Account but with the help of Mia the problem was quickly resolved Reviewed on: 13th September 2023

easy to use instant access and currently good interest rate

The staff are really helpful and the online account is easy to use. You just need to check the interest rate (currently a whopping 5.1% and so ahead of the rest) and remember that you can only withdraw up to £25,000 a day (if you have more to save) - but for an instant access account it's unusual. Gillian Collard answered my query quickly and professionally and put my mind at rest that everything was OK

I couldn't access my online banking to check whether a large transfer had arrived safely. Gillian was able to explain what I had done wrong and assured me that all would be well which it is now.
