Good for most small businesses, not suitable for international trading

While my day to day experience with tide has been positive, it was not clear at the time of opening my account that we would not be able to receive client payments made in different currencies (money that we had invoiced for in £GBP but our clients transferred in $USD). There was no notification that an incoming payment had failed / been attempted in a different currency so there was no way of knowing the client had attempted payment until we chased when overdue. Not great for my clients experience or mine. If you are ever hoping to trade with international companies, they do not always have the facility to pay in a different currency from their own so Tide would not be for you. Easy to use

This bank is a little underrated. It doesn't have great publicity like some of the mainstream brands although the software is absolutely amazing and the app notifications are built in and accountancy software is incredible. This is definitely the new underdog to watch Reviewed on: 20th March 2023

Easy to set up and control

Easy Business Banking

For a Self Employed person like myself with very little knowledge of Business it has been a pleasure to find Tide Banking and the ease of their App is just fantastic. Reviewed on: 20th March 2023

Perfect for starting up your business

I started my own business at the beginning of 2023 and Tide was super simple and easy to register to! Everything was completed within a week and I had my account up and ready to go in time before my first booking took place!
