Switch to Triodos, and be a partner for change

Although our world needs drastic changes in thinking to be more sustainable, I for one feel rather powerless in a busy modern life to be part of that. That all changed when Triodos launched their Current Account. Now I can proudly carry my plant-based debit card every step of the way each day, with my daily banking flowing through a bank that stands for change. For just a few pounds a month, I have said "NO" to mainstream banking and "YES" to honest, sustainable and community-focused banking. Triodos really is a sustainable bank

Sustainability is not just an add-on. It is what Triodos is. It feels more like joining a family than a bank. As well as the current account for which we pay a fair price that does not rely on subsidy from penalties paid very often by those less fortunate, there are sustainable ISAs and other investment products. Most ethical bank and easy to use

When we moved to the UK we knew we wanted to keep our money with an ethical bank, so that the returns on that money would be used to improve the world - it didn't take us long to decide on the Triodos Bank for that purpose. I was not expecting that the level of service would be so high - I've had to be in touch for a few things relating to the move, and I really feel like we have been treated like people, rather than a number. Banking the right, with kindness, purpose and assurance

I have always found Triodos to be honest and open in the way they treat me as a customer. I like their focus on helping those in society ( in the UK and importantly around the world) that need a helping hand. Sometimes it's a financial thing that works but often it's opportunities or exposure. The banks information on some of these issues via print or online media is something I like. Truly ethical bank

I have been a customer for many years now, having savings and ISA accounts since the late '90s, and was so delighted when Triodos decided to offer personal current accounts. I switched from the Co-operative Bank which I think is less ethical and not so in line with my values. I love the transparency of Triodos Bank, and the way they support people trying to make a positive difference in the world. Reviewed on: 15th December 2019
