A Brilliant Ethical Bank

I’m so grateful to Triodos for providing an environmentally sound, ethical alternative to the planet-wrecking, profit-first traditional banks that lack consciousness. Their friendly customer service has minimal waiting times, and being UK-based in Bristol, they also support the local workforce. Reviewed on: 19th April 2026

The best current account I’ve had, clear and easy to use, excellent customer service and top notch ethical investment. I particularly value how the bank actively supports and invests in ethical and social projects as well as divestment. And all the info is sent via an uplifting newsletter. Great current account..

I have quite a few transactions every month with our joint current account and have never had any problems at all, switching from my previous bank was also seamless. Love banking ethically, well worth the £3 per month charge Reviewed on: 19th April 2026

Long term term user

I have banked with Triodos for several decades for both personal savings and operating 4 accounts for a charity and although they have no branches, the information on their site and their telephone help line are really effective. Reviewed on: 19th April 2026
