An excellent ethical bank - keep up the great work!

I am grateful to have the opportunity to bank with such an ethical bank (96/100 from the Ethical Consumer). Yes, I have to pay £3 a month, but since when do you not pay for a service and why should people on low incomes pay interest charges to support others' free banking. I personally received the money I had paid in overdraft charges back when Triodos decided this was not ethical; they then stopped providing an overdraft facility. Online banking is easy to use and the modernising of the website was a big improvement. I just hope one day ethical pensions are as good as this bank and plant-based pensions become available. Peace of mind and a delight to bank with

A bank that gives me not only the peace of mind that comes from knowing that my money is causing the least harm possible, but also the assurance that my funds are safe and daily banking processes are straightforward (and actually quite lovely, as these things go!) to follow. Challenging indifference to climate and nature crises

Now 76, I've worked for Nat West, banked with First Direct, the Cooperative Bank and with Triodos for 20+ years. The service at Triodos has been superb, the charges transparent and reasonable and best of all my money supports lending to inspiring social and environmental enterprises which are outside the mainstream economy which in my judgement is largely profit driven and indifferent to the very serious social and environmental crises the world is facing.
