They are an ethical bank so my money is doing good

They are an ethical bank so my money is doing no harm and also doing some good while I'm waiting to use it. Also the monthly fee is really small compared to other banks. The App is GREAT. If you ring them up you can hear the smile down the telephone line Reviewed on: 16th April 2026

Highly satisfied

An ethical bank with great customer service

I like Triodos ethical approach but they are also very good whenever I've needed to contact customer services with a prompt response and a quick resolution to any issues. Both app and online banking work will too. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026

Appreciate their values, ethics and plain language

I am a Triodos Bank user because of their values and because it is the most ethical banking option available in the UK. I find their copy easy to read and respectful, the app easy to use in most cases and I love how they invest in projects that actually help people and the planet. There are only a few things that would improve the experience for me: first, being able to receive international transfers into the account - this is currently too complex, as you don't have an IBAN and need to send the money to Triodos first, which can very easily go wrong if the person at the other end doesn't add your correct account information to their Reference field. Second, offering business banking for small enterprises/self-employed individuals would be fantastic. Third, although I understand the reasoning behind it, I find that charging for a current account (£3 monthly) puts many people off when there are other banks that pay you instead.
