Ethical - doesn't fund wars or climate change

A very useful team that are easy to contact- no getting stuck in loops with robots! It's also a relief to be able to invest an ethical bank that doesn't support fossil fuels or fund wars like so many other banks do. Reviewed on: 21st March 2026

Banking that actually reflects your values

As someone working in sustainability, Triodos feels like a natural fit. Although the fees are a bit higher and the digital experience is less advanced than mainstream banks, the app works well, transactions are smooth and easy, and everything you need day-to-day is there. Most importantly, you know your finances are supporting positive environmental and social impact. So if you care about what your money is doing in the world, the small trade-offs are worth it. My experience.

I Have been supported by Triodos bank for many years, even before it even had a current account it helped the small school we were founding. in fact without its help we would not have survived. The school was dedicated to bring its education to anyone no matter what their income. A difficult task in England for a school not funded by the state or the very rich. I have been a customer since it began having current accounts and found that they really listened to my needs and responded to them as best they could. I am now 75 and recovering from a brain tumour and the only place they have fallen down is that I have great difficulty reading their chat communications because of their small size of print. Ethical bank with a human face

If I call I speak to a human who can sort my issue. No menu systems, no automated voice. And on top of this I am proud to tell my friends it is an ethical bank. Reviewed on: 21st March 2026
