Banking with society in mind

When I realised I could use a bank who prioritised positive impact through their investments, it seemed a no brainer to me. There are multiple crises in the world, arguably caused by our broken economic model, so shifting my money to a bank who actually cared not just about avoiding harm, but actively doing good makes me feel that I am doing my bit to change things. A great ethical bank.

A great ethical bank that's been around for a while. Good to know my money isn't going near fossil fuels and wars to secure them! The banking app is easy to use, and on the occassions I have contacted via phone, customer service has been helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. Reviewed on: 20th March 2026

Triodos has been an outstanding bank.

Triodos has been an outstanding bank. I have always gound the app easy to navigate, open new accounts, and customer services always very helpful. It's great that if we need to pay money in it is a freepost address, but it is becoming harder to trust any postal service with this. I would like another option on how to pay money in. Fantastic bank, switch now!

Very easy to switch, app easy to use. The few times I have had to use customer services they were helpful and polite. Love that you can see where you money is going and who it is helping within the app as well as the carbon savings from banking with Triados. Reviewed on: 20th March 2026

Financial integrity at its best

Especially in the day and age we live in with so much war and confusion, I personally believe it's more essential than ever to make important decisions about the way we interact with the world. The way we use our money is an important part of that journey of personal integrity. For me to know that my money is not being used in any way to benefit companies that make weapons or fund the continuing destruction of our planet through the use of fossil fuels is definitely worth the only negative thing I can think of, and that is that the bank has no ability for you to be able to pay in cash. Slightly inconvenient , but nothing in comparison with the positives I've already mentioned. Reviewed on: 20th March 2026
