I love the way they communicate with customers telling us in every day language what good our money is doing for small and large community projects seeking to restore our ecology. Their banking app is super easy to use. The ability to set up alerts should a large payment go out, so you can check immediately if it was unauthorised by the account holder. Triodos banking app is magic!

Triodos banking app is magic! I find I can manage transfers, standing orders and all other banking needs in seconds. When I have got lost I have found help is only a phone call away from a real human. And all this knowing my money is earning a fair return in an accessible savings account where my money supports only good projects. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2026

Outstanding current account

Triodos is the only bank that uses our money proactively in ethical investments - other "ethical" banks use a negative approach of not investing unethically (e.g. in arms or fossil fuels). The account is easy to use, both online and via the phone app. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2026
