Triodos Bank's Personal Current Account offers guilt-free everyday banking through its convenient mobile app. Insights on your spending are provided and I can rest easy, knowing my money is only lent to organisations doing good in the world. There is a £3 monthly fee but this is worth it for the peace of mind and to fairly share the costs of running the account. Reviewed on: 21st April 2026

I love that Triodos are an ethical bank.

I love that Triodos are an ethical bank. I love that when I phone someone answers without me having to press 1 etc. the person on the phone sounds like a real person, is professional and friendly. I love how advertising is usually of older interesting looking women. I like how my card is beautiful and the numbers are easy to read and stand out. my main reason for banking with Triodos is because I know that my money is not being invested in war, murder or destruction. Triodos Bank best for ethical banking and friendliness

Triodos Bank are very responsive and helped me a lot with security issues. It is easy to get in touch with them and customer service ice are friendly and helpful. Best bank, best customer support!

I've was delighted to learn of Triodos some years ago & have banked very happily with them ever since. Whenever I've landed myself with a problem I've had no difficulty in getting through to their support number, invariably receiving a friendly response with the problem solved swiftly & efficiently. I’ve had a current account with Triodos Bank UK for about seven years, and my experience has been very positive. What stands out most is the bank’s clear ethical focus. Knowing exactly where my money is being invested—renewable energy, social housing, and community projects—genuinely changes how I feel about everyday banking. Their transparency reports are a real strength and make it easy to see the impact. The online banking experience is solid and has improved over time. The app is straightforward and reliable, though not as feature-rich as some of the larger high street banks. For example, you won’t find all the budgeting tools or integrations that digital-first banks offer. Customer service has consistently been excellent. On the few occasions I’ve needed support, responses were quick, knowledgeable, and handled by real people who understood the products. On the downside, there are fewer physical services and features.
