triodos are efficient answering queries whether by email or through the messaging service. there is always someone available if necessary to have a personal conversation. i enjoy knowing that they are using my money ethically, that means a lot.their website is easy to use and they keep me in touch with all developments. Best Ethical Bank

As someone who prioritizes ethical banking, Triodos is easily one of the best in the UK. I switched from Barclays and haven’t looked back; the transition was seamless. The app is feature-rich without the typical corporate bloat, and it’s refreshing to deal with a bank that values transparency over bonuses. It now serves as my main account for all essential transactions. I finally feel like my trust is well-placed, knowing my money isn't funding the harmful industries typical of high-street banks. Triodos has no physical branches, so you have to be comfortable doing everything via the app or phone. There is also a £3 monthly fee for the current account. For me, this is a small price to pay for the peace of mind that my money isn't funding fossil fuels or arms trading, but it is something new users should weigh up. Reviewed on: 21st April 2026

Kind banking
