I signed up for a current account with Triodos because I wanted to be sure that the bank I was using was ethical and would only invest my money in appropriate ways. As it turns out, they have been great the deal with - the few times I have had to call their customer service they have been very polite, friendly and helpful. I like the level of communication I get from them and the efforts they go to to let me know where my money is going and the results it is producing. I genuinely feel they have gone to a lot of trouble to be as open and upfront as possible which, compared to the rest of the banking industry, is a breath of fresh air! Friendly ethical banking

Straightforward sustainability

I want to support positive sustainability and the Triodos current account fills the gap in having a current account which fulfils this. You want your current account to work and be accessible without having to think about it. The Triodos current account does that whilst giving confidence that they are a successful business who are not interested in maximising their return from your choice by cutting corners. What's not to love?

As an ethically aware and environmentally conscious person, I feel switching to Triodos is one of the bigger impact life changes I have made. There is a £3 charge which I dont notice even as a student. If I need to speak to someone I don't have to navigate a list of options or wait on hold and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. Their online banking system is secure and easy to use, and the weekly balance texts I've opted for really help me budget my money. All this and I am not funding fossil fuel companies, and my money is being used to support environmental or community initiatives. Initiatives that really make a difference to people's lives, rather than just creating profits for profit's sake. What's not to love? Reviewed on: 23rd December 2019

I have only had to contact Triodos twice but both times I have received excellent customer service, the app is great and I am happy to pay a small monthly fee to bank with an ethical bank that treats ALL it's customers fairly and puts my money to use in ethical and sustainable ventures.
