When you need to contact the bank, you quickly speak to a knowledgeable, friendly, helpful human being. Usually they are authorised to sort out any problem or issue immediately. I have banked with Triodos for 15 years now because it really is trying to be different and to use money to support and enable people and organisations who are not about maximum financial profits or quick turn overs but about sustainable living taken with the long view.
