Tricky Case

Ours was a tricky case to be fair. We were remortgaging in the UK, whilst living abroad. This meant that communication was very difficult. It often took our agent more than 5 days to reply to my emails and questions. Often it was too late by then. We were under big time constraints, so it was all very stressful. Sorry to say I was not impressed with my agent at all. I had to resort to getting my mortgage broker involved many times, in order to get answers etc. He was very kind, as this was not his job. It was a huge relief once everything went through, but I think it could have been a much easier process with proper communication and explanation. Reviewed on: 3rd March 2026
