A local building society, providing five star service

A local building society, with an office in the village (Bramhall) ensures easy access and a friendly welcoming face to answer questions, resolve any difficulties, and explain the various saving options. This is a rare combination of customer service which is sadly missing from many other Building Societies. Reviewed on: 14th January 2026

Small can be good

Such a nice organisation staffed by such nicepeople who are always cheerful and helpful. The aspect I like most is the feeling of belonging to something small and intimate and above all locally based. There is nothing I can think of in my dealings with them that has been in any way negative. Reviewed on: 14th January 2026

Incredible service.

I tried to set up an ISA at my bank and they were unable to do it in branch, I had to do it online. I left the bank and went straight to the Vernon where they said they could do it straight away. They offered me a drink whilst I was waiting. They were incredibly helpful and I was 100% happy with the service provided. Reviewed on: 14th January 2026
