Untrustworthy bank, awful staff If you care about your savings keep away. Bank stores are so few that when you have issues you won’t get resolution. Reviewed on: 19th November 2022

Not very competitive rates at present

I have been unable to find an attractive savings rate (compared to other providers) on your Virgin site so unlikely to remain with you. Reviewed on: 1st September 2016

Saving that suits me

I save with Virgin Money through a Help to Buy ISA and Save to Buy A/C. I chose Virgin Money as they had one of the best rates at the time and I also liked that I didnt need to go into a branch to set up my account/s or to manage my account/s. I recommended Virgin Money to around 4 of my friends who now have similar saving accounts. The only thing I don't like is that there is no app for my phone to be able to easily log in and out. I've never spoken to anyone at Virgin Money so I can't really comment on customer experience in that sense, but I am always kept informed by email which suits me. Reviewed on: 1st September 2016

Easy and customer based

Needed advice and got it here when my normal bank (worlds largest bank) got it all wrong. Good energy in an institutionalised world. Reviewed on: 1st September 2016

Interest rates

When the bank of England set a reduction in the bace rate it is only .25% the rate that has been applied in not in line Reviewed on: 31st August 2016

Decent return

Really like the fact that having a Cash ISA with Virgin means I'm eligible for all sorts of extras (competition entries, etc). Reviewed on: 30th August 2016

Unbeatable rate with easy access

5
A always come back to virgin due to their best rate and be able to operate the account easily Reviewed on: 30th August 2016

Keeping money safe.

I found that by keeping my savings in a Virgin Money ebond. The money gained a little interest whilst being invested. It was also safe from me spending it. I found that at the time I invested the money. Virgin Money paid the best high street interest rate. Reviewed on: 30th August 2016

Silence

I took out a Virgin ISA sometime ago. Well, I think I have. I've not had any confirmation that I have this account. I set up a Co-Op one at the same time and the difference in customer care has been stark. I was left in no doubt I was a Co-Op customer. Reviewed on: 26th August 2016

ISA interest rates too low

2
Despite BoE rate cuts I expect Virgin to offer the best ISA rates in the market, they no longer do so and are being overtaken by their competition. Also a real pain to service accounts given unfriendly user log-in that I can't remember, I should be able to set this to something of my choosing e.g. email address. Reviewed on: 26th August 2016
