Simple fixed term investment with a decent interest rate

The interest rates commonly available mean we struggle to project our investment against inflation. This looks likely to continue for some years. Zopa's fixed term investment provides a solution. Simple to use with a useful, but not fantastic ... better than most banks, interest rate. The platform is easy to use and reliable ... I have been a Zopa customer for several years and not experienced any service downtime. If you do not mind setting aside access to money for a year or two then you should probably consider Zopa's fixed term savings account. Reviewed on: 7th April 2021

ZOPA Savings Account

Being a previous investor in ZOPA I was offered a fixed term savings account when ZOPA were given their banking licence. I was impressed with the account because it gave a good interest and was even more impressed when you can see the interest go on monthly not like some other providers who only show the interest at the end of the term. Easy to run, better rates

Zopa is an easy organisation to set an account up with, and they offer better rates than I can get from the building society. There is no FSCS protection on the main zopa product, so I only use it for a proportion of my savings, but it is definitely worth it. Reviewed on: 7th April 2021
