Fast, fair and friendly

I would normally go to my bank or building society for a personal loan but I already had a personal loan with my building society and found I needed money fast for a problem that came up with my property. I didn't know what to do, borrowing money has always worried me but I had had so much unexpected expense in the past few months that I had no choice but to borrow! Someone recommended Zopa, but I wasn't too sure about borrowing from an online company; people of my age tend to be a little conservative, the internet is still a relatively new concept as far as I am concerned! However, I applied, and I couldn't believe how easy it was to fill in the online application and how quick they responded. My application was accepted and the money in my account in under a week and what had seemed like an almost insurmountable problem was solved! No fuss, no disapproving looks from a bank manager, just a quick credit check and done. When I spoke to staff on the telephone to confirm everything had really gone through so quick they were so kind and reassuring, though they must have thought I was bit behind the times! Zopa do exactly what they say!

Required a loan with good rates and the flexibility to repay quickly without extra charges. Did some research and the online application was very simple and intuitive (unlike my Bank!). Easy to upload documentation and quick notification that my application was successful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Zopa and would definitely use them again. Reviewed on: 3rd June 2017
