Great product despite initial hiccups

I knew I wanted to get a peer-to-peer loan from the get-go and knew about Zopa beforehand. I did a quote to see how much it would cost me to take out a £3,000 loan over the course of a year and was delighted to see that my interest rate was quite low. I also liked the fact that this quote did not affect my credit score in any way and that there were no early repayment fees. I decided to just go for it, however I didn't receive the quick and easy confirmation from Zopa that I was hoping for. I was under the impression that a final decision would be given to me quite quickly but this process took 10 days from submitting my application to getting it approved. This was because I needed to provide additional information, including a copy of my passport to prove who I was. While I obviously didn't mind doing this, I found that the communication levels were quite poor. It took me ringing up about four times to find out exactly what it was they wanted. Because a lot of the system is automated, I didn't receive any emails telling me that there was still outstanding information on my application that needed to be verified. Nobody rang to tell me this was the case. I had to chase them. Anyway, after that was all sorted the money was deposited and I have had absolutely no problems with the provider whatsoever and am happy with the loan. Reviewed on: 2nd June 2017

Brilliant lender low cost Apr

I found this lender whilst searching for a loan and I was impressed at the quickness of being able to secure it. I was also impressed at the low interest rate which was easily managed to suit my earnings. I would definitely recommend to others looking for a loan. Reviewed on: 2nd June 2017

Amazingly low rate and so easy to arrange with simple, uncomplicated paperwork

The rate I received through Zopa was far lower than I had been offered elsewhere. I felt like they recognised my excellent credit score instead of trying to profit from me. The arrangement was so easy and all online, which I much prefer. The forms and statements are clear and fuss free, and I would genuinely recommend Zopa to anyone looking for a loan. Just the best!

Fast, Easy & Great Value

Zopa was the first company I ever got a loan with. It was very simple using the slider to determine how much you need to lend, and how much you'll monthly payments will be.
