My current bank (Lloyds) refused to give me a loan which i needed so much, without even being able to explain me why, Zopa offerred it. LLOYDS' loss as now the money that they could be making will be going to Zopa. Plus, Zopa provided a decent APR compared to the APR's presented by my bank. Reviewed on: 1st June 2017

Fantastic!

This was my first time taking out a loan. I am not usually one to borrow money but I took it out to have IVF, as my fertility is time-sensitive and I don't have time to save (unfortunately the IVF did not work). The Zopa website was extremely easy to navigate, and the questions were surprisingly brief. The money was in my account within a few minutes and the repayments and interest rate is extremely reasonable! My Dad is known for being, what's the polite term nowadays?.....'frugal' and even HE was surprised at how great the loan was! When he found out I'd taken out a loan, he first said that I should have asked him to lend me the cash, but when he read the terms of my loan and the repayment amount, he actually said "That's a really good loan" and he couldn't really offer me a monthly repayment plan that would have been much less than Zopa did!
