Great customer service I would have given it a 5, but it required a nurse visit and application took time. The customer service was superb and the price was very reasonable. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023

Review of the Zurich, Home Insurance:

BEWARE DO NOT USE FOR HOUSE INSURANCE

Had a UK rented property insured with this company and the tennant caused 11ks worth of criminal damage before his final legal eviction by court bailiffs, Zurich engaged a loss adjuster and look into the policy line by line and wriggled out of the claim even though I personally done everything correctly...... Trust me just insure yourselves elsewhere this company are basically scammers. They basically said I haven't been insured from day 1 and then they would not even return my premium which I paid in full via a broker. Absolute robbery....... I shall let FOS decide whether I have been treated fairly and write this post on every platform I can to advise and help others not be in the position I am. Good price and service

Cheapest company for our home insurance

Appalling will never use again

A very long story which included a £2000 bed that had gone mouldy due to poor ventilation the bed was one year old before we had to throw it out We contacted Zurich who took over 2 weeks whilst we slept on the sofa for them to tell us that the mould was general wear and tear !!!! Seriously poor home insurance I had so much stress sorting all this that I just went and bought a cheap bed left Zurich and I'm with another insurance company Reviewed on: 11th November 2016

Claim for lost necklace

I had a diamond necklace worth £900 which had come off when cutting the grass,all I could find was a couple of strands of the fine gold chain.Contacted Zurich,I had to go back to the jewellers that I had bought it and get a valuation,they then paid out.It was a bit inconvenient as it was a 100 round trip and I had a receipt which they said wasn't adequate.Considering I'd had insurance with them for over ten years and had never made a claim I felt I had to prove to them that I wasn't making a fake claim.As it had been a present from my late husband I was obviously upset and they certainly didn't help. Decent service

The help desk function is quite good. What I liked was when the issue looked like it would take a few minutes to sort, they said that they would phone me back rather than hang on. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Reliable and efficient service when you need it.
