Cheapest for fully comp. Great customer service. The only downside is the wait to get through on the phone. Reviewed on: 10th February 2018

Worst I have dealt with cheap but nasty

Just changed my address on line with them, charged me £36. Expected my premium to go down but off course not stayed the same even though moving to a better area. Done the same and changed my address for my other car with a different company my premium reduced by half. Called them for an explanation, said there must be lots of car crime in the new address. Don't even try to cancel it, it will cost you a fortune £300 - £400 if not more. Not happy at all with this. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2018

Good service, quite reliable

No problems

My other car insurance company was just asking to much money, went onto a compare site and this company was the cheapest, i did everything over the Internet and all the forms where straight forward. Been with them for 5 months now and only had to ring once, my call got answered straight away and so was my problem. A* to the customers service team Reviewed on: 3rd January 2018

Rip-off merchants

Absolutely appalling company with limited customer support. Ridiculous cancellation fees and for this reason should be avoided. Reviewed on: 6th December 2017

£150 for a change of address

1
It cost me 35% of my original policy cost to change an address. On top of that my policy went up even though I was moving to somewhere that a) was being kept on a private driveway b) was in a private residential estate (apparently my car is therefore more at risk of being stolen. I also had to spend 35 minutes on the phone trying to sort some issues out. You get what you pay for, pay a little more to a company that don't make their money from charging you £150 for 1 minutes worth of work. Reviewed on: 30th October 2017

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - SERIOUSLY

1
Overall rating -5 Stars, recommendation? NO WAY, not even to my worse enemy Since cancelling my policy, 1st Central renewed without permission. Then I had to complain to the Insurance Ombudsman in order to get 1stCentral to admit their mistake. while this was going on I had debt collectors calling, emailing, SMS'ing, Voicemails, you name it. Once they admitted fault, you would think that its right? WELL NO! 2+ years after I still have CRS debt collectors badgering me and 1stCentral still trying to get money out of me.
