Excellent Service Provider

When my bank let me down on savings investments, I turned to the Chorley Building Society for help. They provided me with a range of savings accounts to choose from. Both my wife and I opened accounts that suited our needs and have been with Chorley Building Society ever since (Over ten years). Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

Customer Satisfavction

When I last visited Chorley Building Society I was very impressed with the cashier who dealt with me. She explained a lot ab out savings accounts and without any pressure on me told me about an account which would give me a better interest. The cashier was very knowledgable and extremely helpful. Knowledgeable helpful efficient and quick

I needed to open a bank account for my Dads pension to go in as he had had a stroke and was hospitalised he couldn’t open one himself He didn’t have a driving licence or passport as his wife who had dementia had destroyed them so he couldn’t leave her - I had applied for power of attorney but it hadn’t come through I went to every national bank and building society in Chorley to be told they couldn’t help Santander pointed me to Chorley Building Society who listened to my problem advised me in a language I understood not banking language and together we opened an account for my Dad I was so relieved I had help. When Dad died in Feb 2020 they once again guided me through paying for the funeral and his outstanding care contributions and what I needed to do next step by step to close the account - I can truly say Chorley Building Society staff were fantastic in what was an awful period in my life. Easy swap

Had an accout which was giving a low interest. Went into the branch asked a few questions and was able to set up a new higher interest account within minutes. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023

Passing on Interest to savers

Chorley Building Society is excellent as unlike other Banks / Building Society’s it directly passes onto the savers as soon as there is an increase in rates. Reviewed on: 28th February 2023
