My amazing experience with Chorley's savings staff

Gill Cinar in the Chorley's savings department spent a great deal of time on 24th July helping me to establish an on-line facility for me. Without her patience and friendly but professional help, I would probably still not be able to go on line. She followed up the following day with a telephone call to help me to make an investment on line. I am not a complete idiot on computers but I would otherwise have had great difficulty in achieving my objective. Gill's help was an excellent example of customer service at its best. I set up accounts in my wife’s and my name. Had a bit of a glitch ( my mistake ) Rang up and spoke to Tracy who sorted it out with ease and settled my mind. Superb Lancashire lass thank you so much Tracy. Pity other banks can’t clone you. X Reviewed on: 25th July 2023

Beware - Customer Service Does Not Exist!

My wife and I have attempted to open accounts with this Building Society but the online system appears to have broken. We have been registered for online banking and are able to log on. We have also received emails advising us that the accounts have been opened and will be available to access on line, where we will see our account numbers so that we can transfer funds in. This is not the case, no new account details are available. I have attempted to contact the society by phone many times today but can never get through to anyone. I have always been placed in a queue for ten minutes after which time I am told to leave a message and the line is cut. This is absolutely disgraceful. Needless to say, we will not be bothering to send them any money even if, by some miracle, we finally get our accounts. I feel very sorry for the staff if they are treated with as much contempt as customers. Reviewed on: 24th July 2023
