When is online not online? When it's Chorley Building Society. Very user unfriendly, slow, unhelpful online platform. The online platform they use is one that is used by most Building Societies but is hopeless and Chorley's use of it is dreadful. Despite having an online account they sent me a passbook. You can get through to a human being. While the mistake of putting us into the default fixed rate bond was wrong, Julie quickly resolved it and wrote first class with the corrected information. Reviewed on: 15th November 2024

Staff very helpful on phone and in branch. It wasn't necessary to make an appointment to open an account. My only slight criticism is I would have liked more privacy whilst discussing and opening my account. Reviewed on: 15th November 2024
