High limit

Being a customer over 45 years I have never encountered any problem with the bank

Not too good I suppose

When I had an issue with my credit card some months ago, I tried to call many times and no one ever respond. Later on whenever I call just as I am about to connect to advisor the call fails. The customer service could be better. Reviewed on: 13th July 2017

Charged after explaining money troubles

I had a credit card and they said they would help me sort a payment plan after I lost my job and couldn't afford repayments, a week later they slapped penalty charges on and sent it to bailiffs who added even more Charges, putting me in further money problems Reviewed on: 15th June 2017

Excellent rates

Solid credit card with great customer service

I'm very pleased with my HSBC credit card. Although there are no rewards or benefits of using it, because it is linked to my current account I can view all my finances in the app on my phone without logging in which means I can instantly see where I am financially. I've only had to call customer services a few times and each time was a pleasant experience. Reviewed on: 10th June 2017

nice card decent credit limit

although the actual application process was a little long winded, being via post. I got a much higher credit limit than I expected and the card was easy to use and I feel confident in the high level of security surrounding accessing my account. Reviewed on: 9th June 2017

Safety first banking

I have been with HSBC all my life and have always found them fair when it comes to credit cards and loans. Recently they put a block on my account due to suspected fraud, turns out all was on and a quick phone call got this removed, but I am glad they are looking out for me in this way.
