Poor customer service

Fantastic, would definitely recommend!

I recently had to take out a loan in order to learn to drive. I was very nervous about the whole thing as I'm not one to borrow money and my knowledge of finances and lending money is minimal. I was put at ease very quickly. I applied for my loan online, it was so easy! There was no intimidating terminology, and the process was really quick! Reviewed on: 1st January 2017

Very poor

Loan - takes too long and after all that was offered an interest rate nearly 3 x higher than was advertised despite having extremely good credit score. Waste of time and waste of a credit check Reviewed on: 4th July 2016

Quick and smooth loan application

My loan application was handled quickly and smoothly without any problems and with a very competitive interest rate. Reviewed on: 28th March 2016

no negotiations in repayment when circumstances change

no common sense allowed to be applied when circumstances change and payment becomes difficult. must follow orders from high on up, branch staff have no autonomy whatsoever. Reviewed on: 26th January 2016

Amazing rates

I wouldn't really encourage anyone to take a loan if it's not required, but we've been thinking about getting a new car. HSBC offered us a fantastic rate of 3.9% which meant we decided to push the button and get the new car. Repayments are v easily manageable Reviewed on: 4th December 2015

Offered me a first class personal loan rate

HSBC offered me a phenomenal (sub <4%) interest rate for a £7k personal loan which allowed me to make a few improvements to my place. Well timed and great rate! Reviewed on: 7th October 2015
