About this product

Adrian Flux is the UK’s largest specialist motor insurance broker but they also offer other types of cover.

Car insurance policies include cover for standard vehicles, kit cars, disabled and learner drivers, classic and high-performance cars.

Adrian Flux also offer general home insurance and cover for holiday, high-value and unoccupied homes as well as subsidence and flood risk.

Other policies include bike and van insurance, cover for motorhomes as well as key care and breakdown cover.

Warning.....

I have recommended this company several times over the years my son has used them. However, my son has been poorly treated - treated quite ruthlessly actually - since he cancelled his policy in March. He is out of the country and emailed to say he had sold his car and didn't need the insurance any more and could they refund him anything that might be due. They apparently emailed back (he didn't receive it) to ask him to confirm again whether he definitely wanted to cancel, or whether they should carry the policy on against a "dummy registration". Whatever one of these is?! Can they even do this? Surely a new car = new policy? Upshot of this is that Adrian Flux did not cancel his policy in March as instructed, did not refund any monies due back to my son AND then renewed the policy for a car sold 4 months ago and took £500 out of his bank account this week! We are nowhere near sorting this mess out and I wanted to post this as a warning to any parents of younger people that they seem to need to be super careful with this company. I do not like how they have manipulated this situation with a young person not very experienced in formal communication, especially as he is so far from home and with an 8-hour time difference cannot communicate at all well. Honest pricing and a service that goes beyond box ticking

I've shopped around and tried most of the big brands out there I always end up going back to Adrian Flux. Their staff know what they are doing they don't make the mistakes all the others make. They understand more specialist vehicles and lease plans. All the other big brands always over promise and under deliver. Flux are honest up front and just get it right that's all I want. I don't need gimics, mer cats or washed up Hollywood actors I need a operator at the end of the phone who knows cars an gets the quote right. Flux do this every time. Reviewed on: 2nd September 2018

Wide range of insurance products

I was looking for a very bespoke commercial motor insurance for the transport of boats and Adrian Flux seem to be the only broker in the country that would even speak to me. They were great although the representative spoke a little too fast at times. Reviewed on: 29th September 2017

Not entirely happy.

Although I get the best , lowest quote from Adrian Flux for all my classics, I have to wait a long time on the phone to achieve it. Why won't insurance companies give you the best price on your renewal quote to save phoning around? Also explain their "agreed valuation policies" Reviewed on: 28th September 2017

When good brokers turn bad!

I was insured with them for a few years, they were very knowledgeable, and came up with an excellent policy & premium, on both a kit car & imported motorbike, I would go as far as saying they were the best broker I had ever used......until I changed vehicles (vw golf), their premium was twice the amount that of other companies. No problem I thought, I'll get my proof of ncb and change to another company. When I asked for proof of ncb they told me I had non, despite sending them proof of 7 years ncb when I started the policy. Apparently they had expired as my policy did not use or gain any ncb. I phoned up several times regarding this, to try and sort it out. Their attitude was atrocious. As far as I'm concerned they stole 9 years hard earned ncb from me. For motorhome insurance, you cannot find a more professional and helpful team than those at Adrian Flux!! I have owned a motorhome for almost 10 years now and having been recommended to them by an acquaintance of mine (a caravanner), I have found them to be very reliable, understanding and they also provide a reasonably priced product which, as a pensioner, always helps! I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for motorhome, caravan or classic car insurance. Should Adrian Flux win this award, it would be no more than they and their team deserve!!! The customer should be looked after and this is exactly what Adrian Flux do. If I have had an unblemished period of cover with AF and, more importantly, with no claims over a 20 year period then why should my insurance premium go up - AF have recognised this and withdrawn any premium increases - that's the right business sense........well done!
