About this product

Aegon offered a Retiready Pension which was withdrawn for new customers from December 2023. For existing customers, it has a maximum service charge of 0.5% per year.

Aegon also provide workplace pensions through Aegon Retirement Choices. The UK-based Aegon Assist team can guide customers through retirement options.

Consistent service on a proactive basis

Aegon always provide an informed choice and all the detail I need to deal with Pension matters. Responses are quick with reasons why that are accurate, the website is easy to find what I require Reviewed on: 17th October 2021

AVOID AEGON!!

Impossible to contact them, constant problems with website. Do not inform customers when 'rules change' (e.g. they did not contact overseas customers when rules changed regarding pension transfer overseas, ....) etc, etc STAY AWAY Reviewed on: 14th October 2021

This company meets my ideal customer service experience

I have been an Aegon customer for almost 20 years and have never had cause for concern about anything they have done for me. I cannot say that about any other company I have dealt with, over that length of time. I would not say I am an 'easy' client and have high expectations, where customer service is involved. Workplace pension

I use Aegon for my workplace pension, the app is fantastic and easy to use. It helps me understand how my pension is working and keeping me up to date.I love doing the surveys as its help the company get a better understanding on wants going on. Reviewed on: 12th October 2021

A very good site and a nice community feel

I actually enjoy taking part in the surveys as I find the questions interesting, and they help me stay aware of my financial outlook. I think the site is well laid out and easy to navigate. There is no spam from Aegon, just emails asking me to take part in the surveys which I opted in to voluntarily when I joined. Reviewed on: 11th October 2021

Used for over 20 Years

I have used Aegon for over 20 years for managing my pensions (Have two pensions from current and previous employer with Aegon). Have never experienced any issues with them. The two or 3 times I have had to contact them either via phone or e-mail, it has been dealt with in a timely manner. I use the App on a regular basis and 3 or 4 times a year use Target Plan to ensure my pension is on track and if any changes need to be made. Overall very happy with the performance of the investment funds my Aegon pensions are invested into. Hopefully this trend continues and I can look forward to a comfortable retirement.
