Good company to have your pension with I have used this company for my pension for a few years now with a couple of employers was also easy to move to one place very quick and easy process Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023

About this product

Aegon offered a Retiready Pension which was withdrawn for new customers from December 2023. For existing customers, it has a maximum service charge of 0.5% per year.

Aegon also provide workplace pensions through Aegon Retirement Choices. The UK-based Aegon Assist team can guide customers through retirement options.

Workplace pension

I use Aegon for my workplace pension, the app is fantastic and easy to use. It helps me understand how my pension is working and keeping me up to date.I love doing the surveys as its help the company get a better understanding on wants going on. Reviewed on: 12th October 2021

A very good site and a nice community feel

I actually enjoy taking part in the surveys as I find the questions interesting, and they help me stay aware of my financial outlook. I think the site is well laid out and easy to navigate. There is no spam from Aegon, just emails asking me to take part in the surveys which I opted in to voluntarily when I joined. Reviewed on: 11th October 2021

Used for over 20 Years

I have used Aegon for over 20 years for managing my pensions (Have two pensions from current and previous employer with Aegon). Have never experienced any issues with them. The two or 3 times I have had to contact them either via phone or e-mail, it has been dealt with in a timely manner. I use the App on a regular basis and 3 or 4 times a year use Target Plan to ensure my pension is on track and if any changes need to be made. Overall very happy with the performance of the investment funds my Aegon pensions are invested into. Hopefully this trend continues and I can look forward to a comfortable retirement. Always easy to contact and regular updates

Never use these guys seriously no customer service

I have been struggling to get access to my company pension which is trapped with them for the past month. You call no one picks up. You try chat and the operators cancel the chat the minute you mention you want to leave. You email and they don't reply. Reviewed on: 2nd September 2021

REALLY HAPPY BUT CONCERNED

Switched 1 pension to Aegon around 2012 and it has made a lot of money, my other pension I was advised to leave where it was, anyway that pension was also moved to Aegon around about 3yrs ago and is doing really well. My only concern is while looking at reviews and thinking if they devalue them on purpose when you try taking money out and also delay you taking it out which will then make you pay some tax on it if it does not reach you in the right tax year.
