Best to go somewhere else. They take your money for years - no problem. Really obstructive when you are due to get it out. Lots of delaying tactics. Reviewed on: 21st December 2025

Aegon offered a Retiready Pension which was withdrawn for new customers from December 2023. For existing customers, it has a maximum service charge of 0.5% per year.

Pension review

Pensions with Aegon seem decent so far. Website is informative, interactive and interactive. they do their best to help you understand how pensions work and what happens to your money, but it is still over complicated in my opinion. Pretty good company

As far as pension companies go they’ve been one of the easiest to deal with and access information about pension. Never had any issues, and I think their Feedback Community is an amazing idea - getting feedback directly from their customers at regular intervals in a non-intrusive way. Professional company with easy to follow online access

I have a One Retirement Pension with Aegon and couldn't be more happy with the service I receive. I use it for ad-hoc withdrawals and it is easy to see how the fund has performed and what funds are available and they are always sure to inform you of how your withdrawal is likely to to effect your fund. Requesting the withdrawal is simple to do online and the payment is usually in my bank account within a week. All in all easy to use, easy to understand and above all a safe platform for my investment. Reviewed on: 22nd September 2020

Great Pension Advice

Good pension provider but need to work on the background

The pension negotiated with our company has very low costs and performance is reasonable. Communication is generally good and changing contributions and moving pensions has worked easily for me. The retire ready site is what I use most, however it would be much more useful if you could add existing pensions to the app, to give a better overview. Reviewed on: 18th September 2020

Website works well, no complaints as such. Would prefer more stats e.g. I just see my portfolio value compared to its value 6 months ago (rolling).....I'd like more flexibility and range on the stats, e.g. current value versus this time last year, last 6 months, last 3 years etc etc Reviewed on: 18th September 2020
