Have used all clear for years now, both for Europe and Canada. We have used both single trip and once for annual cover Best value, best cover for pre existing conditions. I have had low grade prostate cancer but all surgically removed and clear since 2018. I also have a pacemaker. My partner had a heart attack in 2016 but is otherwise very well since. The application form is easy online done step by step, you list currwnt conditions and past health issuse, then all medication is listed. You will then get a quote for whichever of the excellent levels of cover you wish to purchase. It is very clearly laid out what you are and are not covered for and tou can choose a number of add-ons specific to your particular needs or type of holiday. The booklemwhich you then also receive, lays out very clearly everything you need to understand your cover and how to claim if necessary. Over the years we have only ever had to make two very small claims, each on a seperate ocassions. We kept and submitted receipts and they were dealt with very swiftly. Cannot fault this company in any way. We have always had a first class service and they are always easy to contact. We have already recommended AllClear to quite a humber of family members and close friends. I am happy to continue to use this company and also recommend you give them a try. Very poor response time and claim unfairly dismissed

I waited three months for Reactive Claims to assess my AllClear Gold plus claim. My claim was then summarily dismissed. Although both my cousin and myself were travelling together, we both took out AllClear Gold Plus and felt well covered. My cousin lost her passport in South Africa so we could not board our cruise ship. But my claim for necessary, actually vital, travel was refused and my cousins limited to just£500. My cousin’s lost passport obviously seriously disrupted our travel plans. We lost four days of our cruise and had to spend on emergency accommodation, food, taxis etc and then flight and transport to get back to our cruise ship on its last night in South Africa. I was refused ALLof my claim for the vital transport. The excuse by AllClear( Reactive Claims) was that it wasn’t my passport. My argument is that my travel plans were interrupted and I had to get back to the cruise so I could then eventually get my booked return flight back to the UK. In other words AllClear effectively left me with no insurance cover because I was not the one who lost the passsport. But even my cousin only received £500 which nowhere near covered all that she had had to spend ( we were stranded in South Africa). In essence AllClear dispossessed me of my expensive insurance cover. Beware of the hype. Reactive Claims, the company who manage AllClear claims will find any reason to deny your claim in my cousin and my experience. Reviewed on: 8th August 2025
