There are a interest free options for different terms, depending on how much you spend. If you don't pay in full, you'll be charged interest on any balance remaining at the end of the plan which will be backdated to the date of purchase.

Review of the Argos, Argos card:

Poor is being generous

Trying to pay. Call centre staff do not know process. Say they will allocate payments to different balances but don’t, which could have screwed up my credit score. Automated payment line does not recognise English and sends you back to call centre who can’t take a payment. Useless Card number not recognised after 4 attempts. Card is convenient but expensive

Having an Argos card is great for one thing: buying moderately expensive but common items that aren't any cheaper elsewhere, and paying them off before the interest free period expires. However if you don't do this, they nail you with interest. I've also found it means I sometimes I pay more for things that I could get cheaper elsewhere. Which I guess makes it a good business tactic on Argos' part. Reviewed on: 7th June 2017

Not to bad I suppose

I have a credit card, really wish I hadn't got it to be honest, my payments keep rising each month even though I no longer use the card and haven't for months, yet the payments go up and up, avoid unless you really really need it Reviewed on: 27th December 2016
