Bad but thankfully short lived experience Short lived experience - payments kept being refused from the Atom account, despite it being completely funded. Moved to First Direct and glad I did. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

I had to call customer services to obtain a statement and the person I spoke to was extremely helpful, quick at actioning what I needed and overall I’ve had a fantastic experience experience with Atom and have recommended them to friends and family. Atom is easy to use, has excellent interest rates and is entertaining, when you click on interest a little piggy bank appears which shows you your saving streak and when your interest is due.
