Torn Meniscus

Had problems abroad which incurred medical expenses. Submitted claim on return to UK, claim settled without problem & quickly. Just make sure about retaining ALL paperwork from travel to accompany claim. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2017

Avanti Travel Insurance fully deserves high recommendation

Those of us who are advancing in years and who may have one or more health issues will inevitably discover that many insurance companies will decline requests to provide insurance cover for travel abroad. However, a number of firms are willing and pleased to take account of the various factors pertaining to each individual and provide a realistic quotation. One such company which I have used on a number of occasions in recent years is Avanti Travel Insurance. I have been completely satisfied with the ease of setting up excellent cover for travel abroad not only to Europe but also on a worldwide basis. The staff are very courteous, helpful and efficient. Searching for Travel Insurance can be a Nightmare.

I have used Avanti for Travel Insurance on a number of occasions over the past few years. The guys you deal with always make it as straightforward as possible for you. On one occasion I rang two other companies beforehand for a comparison and at times felt humiliated and guilty even just because I had declared one or two health problems. Lack of vital information

I have found out entirely by accident that Avanti have changed their underwriters to a company in Ireland. The emergency numbers and emergency email address have also changed but I with a yearly policy have not been informed. It looks like I could have been left stranded should I have needed assistance.
