Aviva Signature home insurance replaces damaged items with new ones, or pays for them to be restored, repaired or replaced. Damage due to wear and tear or breakdowns is not covered. Accidental damage is an optional cover.

Flood damage settled in days.

I had only switched to Aviva a week before I had a burst pipe in my bathroom and needed a new ceiling, bathroom floor and the new pipework. They sent an assessor around the next day, after 2 quotes were emailed, the cheque was in the post within 5 days. Amazing service. Reviewed on: 15th August 2016

Excellent cover, good price

Best value

I own a house yet I no longer live in it but it's not rented out either. Family lives there rent free. Was rather concerned I would be treated like a landlord and have to pay hundreds of pounds for insurance, Aviva didn't make me feel stupid at all trying to explain this and the cost was less than a hundred quid.
