Huge Loss

My pension pot has lost over 30% in last twelve months. I have reached retirement age and wanted to use drawdown only to discover my pot is worth around £125k less than it was at end of last year. In the interim I have received no recent statements so was unaware of this until too late. I am devastated and terrified for my future. Reviewed on: 18th October 2022

5 weeks later still waiting for them to send penstion transfer forms

Absolutely awful! Wouldn't wish it upon anybody! They're not rude or anything like that - on the contrary, always promise they'll action my request as a priority. Five weeks later, I'm still waiting for the forms to be emailed or posted. I even provided an alternative email address, because they claim my email isn't working. That's not true, as I get all my household bills emailed to me, and I get them regularly. Please don't get involved with AVIVA Pension, if you can help it. Reviewed on: 11th August 2023

Aviva charges extremely high annual maintenance charges

Aviva advertises beware of scammers but the biggest scammers are aviva pension My pension value of £3610 in 2021 has dropped to £2800 in 2023, Markets have gone up worldwide and my unit prices have risen. They advertise AMC of 1.69% and here they charged me £844 as annual maintenance charges. Those whose work place invests into aviva pension I would advise please check your statements and switch to other honest providers as your life time pension money is at stake here. Called the call centre as well and the person just mentioned that I cannot calculate numbers and cant comment on anything ,so much for helpdesk from Aviva Reviewed on: 9th August 2023

Lost 32.000 pounds in 2years on my pension all they said was the down turn in bonds I thought they were supposed to look after our investments not turn a blind . Reviewed on: 2nd August 2023

Money would be better in a building society

Terrible service would give zero if could

Wealthify backed by Aviva

Easy to set up and access. Good initial incentives. I've actually lost money over the first several months. I'm obliged to go into a relatively cautious option which is overly focused on currency and bonds in a high inflation period when these are the worst choices. Reviewed on: 19th July 2023
