AXA car insurance has two levels of cover to choose from.

AXA offer a multi-car discount for cars registered at your home address. There are optional extras you can add on to your policy for an additional fee and you can also get cover for partial hybrid, plug in or fully electric vehicles.

Good for the first year

As with all insurance companies Axa lure you in at the outset with a reasonable quote for car insurance, then at renewal that reasonable price is hiked considerably. Having said that we needed to add an additional driver for a weeks holiday and it was very quick and easy to do, and judging by the research I did, at reasonable cost too. Easy to view all documents on line plus plenty of reminders via text and email. Surprisingly easy to cancel too, I expected a phone call and hard sell but I cancelled the renewal quote online. I've no idea what they are like in a crisis, which is the real test. Reviewed on: 21st July 2017

Fantastic 5 star service

I have been using axa for 4 years now. From the moment I passed my driving test they have always been the cheapest insurance. I had to take time off work once and couldn't make one of my monthly payments. The customer service I received was 2nd to none. they were so understanding of my circumstances and helped me get sorted out quickly without hesitation. if anyone asks about insurance I will always tell them how outstanding axa are Reviewed on: 15th July 2017

Not impressed

They were ok up to a point however they cancelled my policy as soon as i moved address which has put me off ever recommending them. This left me with the inconvenience of finding a new insurer before the end of my premium expiry date with no notice. Upon speaking to adviser I was told they do not insurer cars within my new postcode and therefore my insurance would become invalid from that day onwards and I would need to look elsewhere for cover.
