Great first credit card

Being new to credit and trying to build my credit rating was confusing. The staff are always extremely helpful and explained everything I needed to know. BAD STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Apart from the high fees they are fairly hard to get into contact with especially when something goes wrong ie unathorised transaction and they just end up blaming the card holder and ruining your credit Reviewed on: 5th April 2017

Very Interest-ing

I have been with Barclaycard for nearly 10 years now and I really enjoy being a customer. The company is very proactive in helping their customers to save money, even when they have long term credit balances and only pay the minimum each month as I do. I phoned them to tell them I had become self-employed and was earning less money and they advised me they could save me money by reducing my interest rate by nearly 10% on my outstandign balance, thus reducing my monthly outgoings by nearly £50 a month. This was, and still is, a massive saving to me, and has really been a boon now my income has gone down so much. I cannot recommend them highly enough, because not only do they provide fabulous customer service, but it is all done politely, courteously and kindly. Reviewed on: 29th March 2017

Straightforward, affordable credit

Barclaycard were the only bank to accept me at a time when I most needed credit. As a result, I've been able to rebuild my credit file, leading to better rates and acceptance from other lenders. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017
