Worst Customer Service ever

After excepting a credit card offer from Barclays through my AARP membership, I immediately gave them information for two balance, transfers. The balance transfers with 0% interest were the sole reason I excepted the credit card offer to begin with. After waiting a few weeks, one of my statement still was not reflecting that the transfer has been made.. When I contacted Barclays, they told me that it failed to process, but they could not tell me why. When I asked how to resolve it, they said they could not help me as it had been over 45 days and I was required to do the transfer in that time period. I spoke with a customer care center supervisor named Kevin, who assured me that he could see that I had provided all information necessary for the balance transfer well ahead of the 45 days. However, since there was a problem on their end (one, they never made any attempt to resolve) he was not able to resubmit it. He acknowledged that I provided all the information to them for the balance transfer well within the required timeline. However, despite it, not being my fault, they could not resubmit and would not honor the original offer. He also assured me that I would be wasting my time to try and escalate it further as he was the final authority, and there was no one else that it could be escalated to. Reviewed on: 21st June 2023

Great card, but frustrating call centre

Card offers are great, but some difficulty when calling for assistance with a language barrier. Problem was eventually sorted out. Reviewed on: 12th June 2017

Good but prepare for junk mail

Good credit card - 12 months interest free but they send lots of junkmail. Customer service is helpful. Reviewed on: 10th June 2017

Fantastic service

Barclaycard have been fantastic, they are easy to get hold of, and called me immediately when they suspected fraud in my account and stopped the transaction. Reviewed on: 10th June 2017

Just works

I was originally attracted to Barclaycard by Nectar points, and though these are no longer available, I have stuck with it as there have been no problems, the online account management is excellent and there are some useful balance transfer options. Reviewed on: 7th June 2017

Love my credit card

I was accepted within minutes , the app is fantastic and easy to use , free access to my Experian credit report. I get offers renewed all the time and it is easy to manage. Long interest free periods and cash transfers into your bank account at a nominal fee. Reviewed on: 1st June 2017
