I have got ISA, Current account and Credit Card with... I have got ISA, Current account and Credit Card with Barclays and it was a bonding to have relation with the Bank. Great service and promotions. Reviewed on: 13th January 2025

Difficult to change account services

I have a savings account with Barclays and I wanted an ISA with Barclays and I wanted to transfer all the money from the savings to the ISA. I was told this would be straight forward however the process took longer than anticipated because of errors at the Barclays end. Firstly they made a mistake in the type of ISA I wanted, and then made a mistake by transfering it all into that ISA. Would not recommend switching to Barclays services. Easy to deal with

Not the best return for your money

Years ago I opened an online ISA. There were and still are problems for me accessing the account. The interest was good first year but has gone down considerably. This money would be better spent. Reviewed on: 12th February 2017

Professional competitive service.

I opened a 2 year flexible cash ISA with Barclays. It was simple to do and was organised speedily. Basically the interest is paid at the end of term and the minimum balance is £0.00 so you don't even need cash to open the account, although I would recommend putting in at least £5.00 to start. The maximum number of withdrawals allowed during the term is 3. I would recommend this savings account to anyone looking to save. Reviewed on: 7th January 2017

aweful banking

would not recommend Barclays bank, because i put a cheque into my account and they cleared it within 6 weeks and then they tried to take the money back saying my cheque was not legitimate. when i know different. they had 6 weeks to clear, why clear it and then say its false......this bank is aweful. Easy Access Savings account

It was very easy to apply for the savings account, like most accounts the interest rate offered has dropped but using the account via the app is quick, with fluid transactions between accounts, warns you if you want to make more than the allowed withdrawals which would affect the rate of interest paid, well worth having as a side account Reviewed on: 31st August 2016

An account worth recommending

Leave your savings alone

Their long withdraw and transferring time makes you want to just leave your money in the savings account. No monthly fee makes it perfect for letting the money accumulate and not be spent on your account fees. Reviewed on: 30th August 2016
