reliable and usable banking app

The banking apphas an excellent user interface and allows customer to see balances, transfer money, pay invoices, as you would expect. There is also the ability to set a limit on ATM withdrawals, freeze cards and limit type of purchases by card. All in all a very useful app, for when you cannot or do not wish to visit the bank. Worst customer service systems in the word

Lost in the wilderness

Lack of branches

When I opened my account initially there were many branches to go to, however now I have only 1 in my town of Eastbourne, It is not conveniently located end necessitates driving into town. To further frustrate me they have now updated their computer log in, so I'm unable to use my I-pad to access my account. Reviewed on: 15th July 2023

Terrible bank

I experienced a frustrating situation with my bank that caused significant financial hardship. They imposed restrictions on my account, citing the need for a form to be completed in order to enhance our relationship. Despite promptly filling out and submitting the form, I have not received any resolution. The automated customer service representatives at their call centers were uncooperative and unhelpful. Considering my nearly 25-year-long association with this bank, I have decided to switch to a different bank as soon as possible. Reviewed on: 12th July 2023

Good but slipping

Has always been really good but getting really difficult to get help now! With a record number of locations closing and so few with counter services and very, very few open on Saturdays. Online help used to be good but I have had occasions where I have had to keep repeating a question to get an answer from them. So good but slipping really fast! Reviewed on: 9th July 2023

Money

Don’t bank with Barclays. Their policy of reconcile payments has left me with no money for my bills, my rent, my food, absolutely left me to die. They rob me of my money and blocked my account with no warning, notice or anything else. They literally let you to die, they don’t care. The worst people with no brain. If you bank with them keep money in another bank or you can suddenly wake up with all your money gone, no explanation, no warning, nothing. If there was a worst review than this I would have happily give them 1000 times…. Pathetic Reviewed on: 3rd July 2023
