Good but has room for improvement

Having been with Barclays for roughly 7 years, I've had a fair few issues between rejected payments and somewhat ineffective customer service, but as a bank account for general use it's not bad at all. The app and online banking are easy and intuitive. Staff are kind and helpful in person. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Unreliable

My partner has been with this bank for many years and has always had issues with the banking app. He is unable to even access his accounts on a weekly basis making it difficult to pay bills on time. I would not reccomend this bank to anyone who relies on mobile banking apps to manage their finances. Reviewed on: 31st March 2023

Can't use on google pay

The account works like any other Current Account but you can't link it to Google Pay which is very inconvenient in this day and age. I had to open a Revolut account and link them just so that I can use Google Pay Reviewed on: 30th March 2023

I'd never go to anyone else

I've banked with Barclays since I was old enough to hold a bank account. I trust them implicitly so much so that I have not only my mortgage through them but also both of my children's savings accounts, all of which I can easily access via the app. I have never had any issue with the products, services or staff ... 100% professional 100% of the time. A lot of fraud and scam, lost your money easily

Amazing

When my mum passed away they couldn't of been better .Despite my problems they bent over backwards to make my experience easier and helped me a great deal .I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of opening a new account. Reviewed on: 28th March 2023
