I miss barclays

I used to bank with Barclays for years until I recently switched to First Direct due to their current switching programme. I miss Barclays and will be coming back for sure some point in the future Reviewed on: 25th March 2023

Good app

Bad in every respect

Business account, they got rid of personal bankers, who organized things for you. We now have a phone line that is never answered by staff who don’t have a clue about my business Mortgage, had to repeatedly explain that what they were telling me re my mortgage was wrong. Put in a complaint, the complaints person said I was wrong. The next day I phone to pay off my mortgage and close the account because I was so annoyed, to be told that I was correct and the previous Barclays staff were wrong. I closed my account anyway. Great bank - over 10 years with them and counting

good but stale

this used to be a great account, they need to improve. The features all work and are all there but its old infrastructure and needs a referesh, the app is good though Reviewed on: 23rd March 2023

The best "High Street" Bank for customer service

Simply put, I've banked with Barclays for over 20 years and had to talk to a Real Human Being on a number of occasions, either in person at a branch, on the phone, or via the app, and have yet to have a bad experience with them at all. I can honestly say most of my friends had bad experiences with other high street banks' customer service, and thankful I'm in the minority Reviewed on: 22nd March 2023

Everything Is Easy

I've had my current account with Barclays for more than a decade and, since they introduced their App, I've hardly ever been in a Branch. I can do pretty much everything via the App and see/operate (nearly) all my accounts - simple needs simply done. Reviewed on: 21st March 2023

Banking made easy
