Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Banking extras costing more each year

Not too long ago my Barclays Connect account was excellent value with Travel Insurance and other extras included in a small monthly fee. Things change, as they must, unfortunately not usually for the better. Costs seem to increase regularly with the value of the 'extra' seeming to reduce. Having banked with Barclays for around 50 years I'm now starting to look around for a better value account. Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

Ease of Use

Barclays is very user friendly; the app is clear to use - being a student having the £500 fee free overdraft is also very handy and overall dealing with staff over the phone is of ease too Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

The Barclays app

The Barclays App is most definitely the quickest and easiest app to use. It's always working and customer service is always quick and everyone is always nice. Being a loyal customer, I couldn't reccomend Barclays more. Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

grate overall experience

ive had no issues with the bank they helped me out and gave me suggestions and information when i signed up the prosses was very easy and only too like 20 mins to get an account, ive had some money go through the account and the app helps me pay my friends and family when needed Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

Superb app to keep tabs on all your in and outgoings

The app Barclays have available to the market is tremendous...It's very user friendly and the features on the app allows me to access many options I would habe thought were only available in store like regular direct debits ... altering dates of payments etc thumbs up from a happy customer ...been my first and only bank for a reason...reliable Reviewed on: 7th December 2018
