Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

I've used barclays for over 20 years, on the few occasions there has been any problems they were always sorted quickly and easily with friendly staff, both in branch and on line.
