Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Great Bank, but could do with keeping with the times

Barclays works well as an everyday banking platform, the app works well and the call center is efficient on the rare occasion i have had to call them. The frustrating part about Barclays is that contactless payments seem to be exploding and Barclays is way behind the times. Samsung Pay, Garmin pay are two simple examples of how making daily transacting simpler and more convenient. but Barclays dont support them. I feel there is a great opportunity for Barclays to lead the way in trends and at the very least, keep with the competiton. but other than that, a Great banking experience Reviewed on: 7th December 2018

Simple, easy to use banking

I find it so easy to use Barclays on line banking. It's quick & simple to apply to transactions any time of day. Viewing statements is so clear. Debit & credits are easily distinguished. Current balance is displayed showing transactions that haven't yet been processed giving an accurate balance. This is very important to me on a very tight budget ensuring i don't overspend. Friendly and easy to access

ll round very professional service

Test messaging when funds are added. Also weekly text to confirm balance of account. Help to manage S/O and D/D. Highly secure mobile banking. Availability to temporarily freeze card if lost or stolen. Total all round service highly recommended. Reviewed on: 7th December 2018
