Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

they are ok, if there is an issue they can usually sort it. the only problem is the lack of branches open late - so you can really only bank or deal with things on a saturday morning if you have a job and work 9-5 Reviewed on: 25th November 2018

Alway feel welcome when visiting the branch

Whenever I visit the branch there is alway someone to welcome me and help me with my queries if I have a problem or question. Despite there being just one counter, the staff on the floor are able to assist on their ipads or direct me to an advisor. Reviewed on: 25th November 2018

Great service....

I have been with Barclays many years and they offer a really good and friendly service. They phone straight away if there is any unusual activity on the account and also with special relevant offers that they think I may be interested in, without being pushy like some banks can be.
