I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Over the moon with my joint account with my husband. We have the Tech Pack which covers our gadgets and phones, we have used the RAC cover several times we have had the unfortunate need to, Holiday insurance is a great added bonus and we even get BLUE rewards just for shopping! Have received great service from Barclays, have several other accounts and servies with them and and would highly recommend their services to anybody. Reviewed on: 29th November 2017

but need better interest rates

Good interest rates, I currently have checking, savings. Setting up an online account will take you awhile. It will also test your patience, but once you get the feel for it you can make easily and fast all your transactions from their. Reviewed on: 20th November 2017
